About Us

Nakasongola Livestock Company Limited (NALICO) is a private company which was set up to address challenges facing livestock farmers in Nakasongola District. It as well seeks to find solutions to farmers’ challenges as a whole (both livestock and crop).

NALICO desires to promote the agro livelihoods of all persons involved in agriculture operating on large and small scale; commercial or subsistence. We are highly passionate about transformation of agribusiness through value addition and sustainability for higher returns.

Nalico Objectives

To promote livestock farming.
To engage farmers in programs, schemes and projects geared towards modernising beef and dairy farming.
To sensitise, train and equip cattle farmers in modern farm management techniques.
To mobilise and unite farmers for the purpose of equipping them with technical skills in cattle farming and other related agricultural activities.
To provide direction to farmers.
To cooperate with government and non- government agencies in promoting cattle farmers.
